How to watch YouTube video on Nintendo DS and DS Lite

Nintendo sell over 100,000,000 DS these years, the NDS is so popular that every family own more than one DS in Japan and every 2 families have 1 DS in US. Meanwhile, many people try to watch YouTube video and other videos on their DS except playing games. However, the DS support so limited video formats (only support DPG) that watching YouTube video on NDS seems to be impossible.

Thanks for the effort of NDS’s third part app developer, watch YouTube video on DS becomes so easy. All you need to do is converting YouTube video to NDS-MPEG Video (DPG). Here below, I will take a third part app for NDS which named Wondershare DPG Converter as example to show you step-by-step tutorials – How to watch Youtube video on Nintendo DS or DS Lite.

Please download Wondershare DPG Converter first, then install and run it.

Step 1: Import video files

You are allowed to import both video and audio files including standard and high definition files by clicking “Add…” button or dragging the files to the file list window directly. Here below are all the supported imported formats.

Step 2: Customize output settings

Then you can select your desired output formats from the categorized output formats list in “Profile” drop-down list, specify the output directory to save your converted files in “Output” drop-down list. And you can set the related video/audio parameters (resolution, frame rate, video encoder, bit rate, sample rate and audio channel etc) in “Settings” window by clicking setting.

Step 3: Start conversion

After customizing the output settings, you can start conversion by clicking “Start” button, and all the tasks will be done at fast speed.

Step 4: Copy the converted video to SD Card

Step 5: Enjoy the YouTube video on your NDS

Plug in the SD card to your NDS, then put your foot up on the desk and enjoy YouTube video or any other video on NDS.

What’ll be BlackBerry Niagara 9630 look like?

CrackBerry.com (the first BlackBerry Blog) dropped bomb about the first real photos of the BlackBerry "Niagara" 9630 out to day. As you can see, the “Niagrara” 9630 Featuring keyboard styling taken from its chubbier friend, the BlackBerry Bold, and the sleeker lines of the Curve 8900.

BlackBerry 9630 is Verizon's Niagara World Edition?

According a really trusted source, the phone will definitely be a Verizon World Edition with support for CDMA 1x, EV-DO Rev. A, GSM, GPRS, EDGE, and UMTS, though we’d bet the UMTS band is going to be 2100MHz only.

Will it have Wi-Fi?

Bad news: Though not all at surprising, it’s a disappointment that Verizon has seemingly decided to continue its BlackBerry-Wi-Fi-ban. To date, Verizon hasn’t offered one single BlackBerry device with Wi-Fi, even though many of the handsets it sells are available in slightly different models with Wi-Fi through other carriers.
Good news: Some Niagara pre-production units supposedly do have Wi-Fi, so other carriers could release Wi-Fi equipped versions in the future.

When will be BlackBerry Niagara 9630 launched?

The expected release date for the Niagara 9630 is late spring/early summer 2009, though that’s just speculation at this point. It also seems likely that Sprint will get some version of the Niagara shortly after Verizon does

And below is a quick list of expected technical specifications:

• The OS actually we’re told is 4.7.1 (but possibly, possibly, be OS 5.0 depending on launch date).
• No Wi-Fi.
• Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support along with WCDMA support (bands not specified, but most likely 2100MHz).
• CDMA 1x/EV-DO Rev. A device.
• Release date unknown, but we’d say May/June if we had to bet.
• 3.2 megapixel camera (though we heard a rumor there might be a camera-less version, but that’s unconfirmed).
• The web browser supports JavaScript 1.6 (not huge news, but at least the browser is slowly improving).

There’s also a blurry video with the Niagara 9630 – it’s said the smartphone runs here on BlackBerry OS 4.7.1.10, which is so unstable that it won’t even start up:

Sony PSP 4000

As the pics show, the PSP2 (or PSP-4000, as it's also being called) will ditch the UMD drive and add a sliding screen that covers most of the controls when it's closed. According to the source, that would still let folks play games like LocoRoco that only use the shoulder buttons when it's closed, and Sony is reportedly keen to get developers to create more games that can be played in that state.

Compared with the PSP Lite 3000, the PSP 2 (PSP 4000) will look more fasion and colorful, and looking forward a better performance for PSP 2.
